The outlook for the current year is also assessed as good. This is considerably helped by the innovations presented at bauma 2016: without exception these have been accepted positively by customers. The “record demand” already observed in April 2016 at the bauma trade meeting in Munich was also confirmed for the rest of the year. Marked economic activity in building has fuelled the demand well into early 2017 that will last for the rest of the year. Optimized solutions in the field of “Building Information Modelling” are also acting as a stimulus. The building industry still has a significant backlog in the trend towards digitalization when compared with other industries. The article provides an update of current developments.
